Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the logic matching between the data of the newest user data managing part and the user data of a user data part and set in the state capable of writing-once to prevent the frequent occurrence of unusable write-once optical discs.
SOLUTION: A keyboard 1, a mouse 2, a written data storage device, a RAM 4, a CD-R image storage unit 5, a CD-R writing/reading device 6, a program storage unit 9, a display controller 10, a display 11, a CPU 12 and a bus-line 13 are provided. After the data of the user data managing part is written first, if the writing of the user data in a user data part is interrupted by a system trouble, the effective user data portion of the already written user data portion is automatically decided and a user data managing part which manages the effective user data portion and the user data of a previous session is produced. Only the newly produced user data managing part is added automatically to the next session.
