PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anvil, a horn, an ultrasonic junction tool, and a manufacturing method for a power storage element, in which a junction object is hardly damaged, when pulling out the junction object from between the horn and the anvil after ultrasonic junction.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of salients 5 has a cross section defined by a first side 55 inclined to a reference line extending from the first end 211 side to the second end 212 side and extending in a first direction, and by a second side 56 inclined to a reference line extending from the second end side to the first end side. An angle α of the first side to the reference line, and an angle β of the second side to the reference line satisfy inequalities: β<α and β<45°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
