Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of manufacturing work and position setting work while improving accuracy in position setting for a cam shaft and an adapter or the like.SOLUTION: There are provided an adapter 11 placed between a cam shaft 2 and a driven member 9; and a stopper mechanism arranged between a holding plate 8 and the adapter so as to restrict the maximum relative rotating position of the cam shaft in respect to a timing sprocket. A pin jig is inserted into a first position setting hole 61 passed through and formed at an inner peripheral part 11b of the adapter and a small diameter hole part 62b of a second position setting hole 62 formed at a fixed end part 9a of the driven member so as to set positions of both members and at the same time a cam shaft position setting pin 60 is passed and inserted into the first position setting hole and an opening part 62a of the second position setting hole so as to set positions in the peripheral directions of the cam shaft, the adapter and the driven member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
