Abstract:
PURPOSE: To heighten the support strength to an electron gun while reducing wire bending processing when a metallic column extending from an electron gun electrode is welded to a stem part lead wire.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic column 2 extending from an electron gun electrode 1 and a stem part lead wire 3 are bridged by means of a metallic band 4. The metallic band 4 has a bend part 5 on one edge so as to surround the metallic column 2 or the lead wire 3, and the bend part 5 has a through-hole 6 into which a welding electrode bar 9 is inserted. Thereby, since it becomes almost unnecessary to carry out bending processing on the stem part lead wire or the metallic column, the selectivity of these construction materials and a wire diameter is increased, so that the support strength to an electron gun can be heightened. The cracking of a stem part glass substrate caused by the bending processing on the stem part lead wire can be also prevented.
