Abstract:
To inhibit an oil from flowing on an outer surface of an oil tank located at the motor side.SOLUTION: A chain saw includes: a motor which rotates a saw chain; an oil tank 60 which stores an oil to be supplied to the saw chain; and a housing having a first space in which the motor and the oil tank 60 are disposed. The housing has a through hole which allows the first space and the outside of the housing to communicate with each other. The oil tank 60 includes: an oil tank body 62 which stores the oil therein; an oil supply part 64 which is inserted into the through hole, is exposed to the outside of the housing, and used to supply the oil to the oil tank body 62; and an inhibition structure 66. The inhibition structure 66 is disposed closer to the motor side than the oil supply part 64 and inhibits the oil on a first outer surface 62a of the oil tank body 62 facing upward in a vertical direction from flowing to the motor side when the chain saw is placed on a placement surface so that the oil supply part 64 faces upward in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
