Abstract:
To provide a breaker that, upon detection of an overload current, can quickly cut off the current and can be easily managed.SOLUTION: A breaker 100a according to the present disclosure comprises: a main shaft 25 that rotates in response to the movement of link mechanisms 28, 29, rotates in a first direction when the link mechanisms 28, 29 move in a closing direction, and rotates in a second direction when the link mechanisms 28, 29 move in an opening direction; a flexible conductor 35 that is electrically connected between a movable element 33 and an external connection terminal 37 and mechanically connected with the link mechanisms 28, 29, and is bent by an electromagnetic force generated by energization between the movable element 33 and the external connection terminal 37 to move the link mechanisms 28, 29 in the opening direction; and a tripping device 51a that, in response to the rotation in the second direction of the main shaft 25, cancels the engagement between a trip bar 12 and a trip latch 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
