Abstract:
To provide a ruler for cutting with further improved safety.SOLUTION: A ruler 100 for cutting comprises: a bottom plate 10 including a first rectangular part of a length Lx×a length Ly; an upper plate 20 which is fixed to the bottom plate along a joint line BL extending in an x direction, and includes a second rectangular part of a length Lx×a length Lz; a pair of side plates 30 which are joined to the bottom plate and the upper plate so as to face each other via a reception space Sr; a contact member 40 which is fixed to a rear face of the bottom plate along the joint line; and a ruler part 50 which is fixed to the upper plate, and has a guide side for guiding a tooth tip in the X direction. A joining member has a thick wall part with the largest thickness on a rear face which is closer to the joint line than Ly/2 from the joint line of the bottom plate. The bottom plate has: a first region including a contact region where the thick wall part exists on the rear face and a region closer to the joint line with respect to the contact region; and a second region farther from the joint line than the first region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
