Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of acquiring a droplet discharge characteristic at a low cost without using a scanner.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes a control section which drives a liquid discharge head 6 with a nozzle array by a drive waveform and creates an adjustment chart on a recording medium P. The control section forms a reference pattern 110 formed along the direction of the nozzle array by driving many nozzles and adjustment patterns 111 and 112 formed along the direction of the nozzle array by driving a smaller number of nozzles than the driving number of the nozzles when forming the reference pattern 110 to be adjacent to each other as the adjustment chart on the recording medium P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
