PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form rolling device of a screw which can further reduce a body size thereof, and a form rolling method.SOLUTION: A holding part 30 comprises a through hole 31 for accommodating a workpiece 19. An inner diameter D9 of the through hole 31 is set larger than an outer diameter D6 of the workpiece 19. During form rolling, the workpiece 19 is moved in a direction to protrude from the holding part 30 while the workpiece 19 is rotated in a state of being held by the holding part 30. After completion of the form rolling, the workpiece 19 is moved in a direction of pulling out the workpiece 19 to the holding part 30 while the workpiece 19 is rotated in a reverse direction to that of the form rolling. A square screw-shaped screw part 32 is formed in the through hole 31. The screw part 32 is provided corresponding to a screw groove 19a of the workpiece 19 (more accurately, an enlarged diameter part 19b of the workpiece 19). The screw part 32 is a female screw having an inner diameter D10. The inner diameter D10 of the screw part 32 is larger than an outer diameter D6a of the enlarged diameter part 19b which is formed in accordance with plastic working when form-rolling the screw groove 19a in the workpiece 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
