Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solutionize a precipitate in a continuous cast slab into the continuous cast slab without increasing a heating temperature in a process of slab heating before hot rolling in short time and at low cost.SOLUTION: A heating method of a continuous cast slab includes heating by 2 steps: a holding step of holding a continuous cast slab of a chemical composition containing, by mass%, C:0.05 to 0.12%, Si:0.05 to 1.0%, Mn:0.5 to 1.8%, P:0.04% or less, S:0.0030% or less, Al:0.005 to 0.07%, N:0.006% or less, Ti:0.05 to 0.15% and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, at a holding temperature of Apoint or higher for 5 minutes to 50 minutes when the continuous cast slab is heated by slab heating treatment before hot rolling; and then a soaking step of soaking the continuous cast slab at a soaking temperature of Apoint or higher and the holding temperature or higher for a constant time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
