Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit image disturbance from occurring when enhancing the visibility of an image by highlighting a reflectance component.SOLUTION: An image processor 10 comprises: a multi-layer image generation part 11 that generates a multi-layer image including at least one smoothing image from an original image; an illumination estimation part 12 that uses at least one image included in the multi-layer image to generate an illumination estimation image with an illumination component of the original image as a pixel value; a specific layer selection part 13 that selects an image of a specific layer for inhibiting image disturbance from occurring, from at least one smoothing image; a synthetic reflectance estimation part 16 that generates a reflectance estimation image with a reflectance component of the original image as a pixel value on the basis of the original image, the image of the specific layer, a synthesis parameter, and the illumination estimation image; and an image reproduction part 17 that generates a reproduction image on the basis of at least the reflectance estimation image and an enhancement parameter.
