Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which displays a map image allowing recognition of an entire area displayed as overlay.SOLUTION: The information processor includes: own device position detection means which detects a current position of an own device; a map information storage unit in which map information is stored; area information acquisition means which acquires area information having a prescribed attribute; and display control means which displays, on a display unit, a first overlay map image where an area based on the acquired area information is displayed over a map image indicating the detected current position of the own device and an own device position based on the map information. The image processor further includes display mode determination means which determines whether the area displayed as overlay in the first overlay map image is in a prescribed display mode or not. If the display mode determination means determines that the area is not in the prescribed mode, the display control means changes the first overlay map image to a second overlay map image where the area is in the prescribed mode, to display the second overlay map image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
