Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method capable of manufacturing porous carbon without using a solvent.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of porous carbon including a process (1) for binding at least one selected from a group consisting of alkali metal hydroxides and alkali earth metal hydroxides, at least one selected from a group consisting of a compound having at least one phenolic hydroxyl group bound to an aromatic ring, melamine and urea as a carbon source and an aldehyde polymer under non-solvent to obtain a mixture, and a process (2) for heating the obtained mixture under an inert gas atmosphere to obtain the porous carbon.SELECTED DRAWING: None
