PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide monoclonal antibodies and methods useful for determining and quantitating the presence of an aryloxyalkanoate oxygenase enzyme (AAD-12) that confers resistance to 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid in plants.SOLUTION: Mice are immunized with purified AAD-12 protein extracted from transgenic soybeans, and anti-AAD-12 monoclonal antibodies are produced with hybridoma techniques.SELECTED DRAWING: None
