Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of achieving both of reduction of manufacturing cost and securing of sufficient fail safe performance.SOLUTION: A motor control device includes: a first motor; and a second motor and controls a plurality of traveling motors mounted in a vehicle. The motor control device further includes: a microcomputer; and an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit). The microcomputer outputs each control target value for the first motor and the second motor on the basis of a command value input from the outside. The ASIC is provided in common to the first motor and the second motor. The ASIC acquires a control target value from the microcomputer and performs feedback control of each of the first motor and the second motor. The ASIC has a fail safe control circuit performing fail safe control. In the fail safe control, a command value for fail safe control is acquired from the outside in addition to or instead of the control target value by the microcomputer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
