Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a fuel cell system capable of facilitating fuel saving.SOLUTION: There is provided an operation method of a fuel cell system 1 including a modification unit 2, a fuel cell 4, raw fuel gas amount adjustment means 3 for adjusting the amount of raw fuel gas, air amount adjustment means 5 for adjusting the amount of air, a combustion unit 6 for heating the modification unit 2 and the fuel cell 4 by performing combustion with anode off-gas and cathode off-gas, an electricity demand acquisition unit 7 for acquiring the electricity demand, and a control unit 8. The control unit 8 can execute a normal mode for setting the amount of the raw fuel gas to a first fuel quantity according to electricity demand and setting the amount of air to a first air amount, and a fuel saving mode transiting from the normal mode, when a state where the fluctuation range of electricity demand is confined within a prescribed range continues for a prescribed time in the normal mode, and setting the amount of the raw fuel gas to a second fuel quantity smaller than the first fuel quantity, and the amount of air to a second air amount smaller than the first air amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
