Abstract:
To provide a pump which can improve the suction performance of fluid.SOLUTION: A pump 100 comprises a first pump mechanism 110 and a second pump mechanism 120. The first pump mechanism 110 repeats a suction period for sucking fluid into a first pump chamber 111 by an increase of a volume of the first pump chamber 111 accompanied by the reciprocation of a first piston 112, and a discharge period for discharging the fluid in the first pump chamber 111 by the reduction of the volume of the first pump chamber 111. The second pump mechanism 120 repeats a supply period for supplying the fluid into the first pump chamber 111 by the reduction of a volume of a discharge chamber 121b accompanied by the reciprocation of a second piston 122, and a charge period K4 for charging the fluid from a suction chamber 121a by an increase of the volume of the discharge chamber 121b. Then, the second pump mechanism 120 is brought into the supply period K3 when the first pump mechanism 110 is in the suction period K1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
