Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate an anode of high purity.SOLUTION: An anode after used, molten indium, in which indium 99.995%is molten in a quantity corresponding to a reduction consumed by electrolysis, and from which a gas component is removed, and a solid chloride agent of 1 mass % or more and 3 mass % or less with respect to the anode quantity after use, and a solid chloride to eliminate an impurity from the molten indium. The molten indium having an impurity removed is poured into a mold thereby to cast an anode of a purity of 99.995% having the gas component removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
