Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion device, an illuminating device, and a projector that can cool a wavelength conversion element.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion device (rotating fluorescent plate) 30 comprises: a rotating device 50; a base material to be rotated by the rotating device 50; a wavelength conversion element (phosphor layer) 42 provided on a first surface of the base material; and a heat sink provided on a second surface opposed to the first surface, and separate from the base material. The heat sink includes a plurality of cooling fins, and the base material is made of a translucent member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
