Abstract:
This abnormality diagnosing device for a planetary gear speed reducer is provided with a second vibration sensor attached to a housing of a hydraulic motor having an output shaft coupled to the planetary gear speed reducer, wherein a controller: calculates a peak frequency Fm of the hydraulic motor and a rotational speed of the hydraulic motor on the basis of second vibration data acquired by means of the second vibration sensor; calculates a characteristic frequency fd of each of a plurality of gears contained in the planetary gear speed reducer on the basis of the calculated rotational speed and the number of the plurality of gears and the number of teeth thereof; and determines the presence or absence of an abnormality of the plurality of gears on the basis of the peak frequency Fm of the hydraulic motor and an amplitude fd at the characteristic frequency fd in first vibration data acquired by means of a first vibration sensor attached to the planetary gear speed reducer.
