Abstract:
Provided is a copper alloy-ferrous material joined body which has high interfacial adhesiveness between the copper alloy and the ferrous material and is capable of maintaining high strength without a precipitation hardening treatment involving a subsequent solution treatment (or only with a precipitation hardening treatment not involving a solution treatment). This joined body comprises: a first member which is formed from a precipitation-hardening type copper alloy; and a second member which is joined to the first member by at least one joint interface and includes an additively fabricated object of a ferrous material. When a cross-section of the joined body perpendicular to the joint interface is observed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM), no void having a length of 50 µm or greater in a direction parallel to the joint interface is present in the joint interface.
