Abstract:
An active matrix substrate (1001), having: a plurality of pixel regions arranged as a matrix in a first direction and a second direction on a substrate (1); a display region (800) provided with a plurality of gate wires G extending in the first direction and a plurality of source wires S extending in the second direction, the display region (800) including a plurality of pixel regions; and a non-display region (900) located around the display region. Each of the pixel regions is provided with a thin-film transistor (101) including an oxide semiconductor layer, and a pixel electrode (15) formed integrally with a drain electrode (9). The gate electrode (3) and the gate wires G are formed from a first transparent electroconductive film. The drain electrode (9) and the pixel electrode (15) are formed from a second transparent electroconductive film, and are further provided with: a plurality of gate signal lines installed in the non-display region (900) and formed from a metal film; and a first connecting part for connecting each of the gate wires G to one of the gate signal lines.
