Abstract:
[Problem] To propose an adapter generation device and method with which it is possible to generate an adapter easily in a short period of time. [Solution] An adapter generation device for generating an adapter that converts the data format of data of a data model in a first data format into a second data format that corresponds to a relational database or converts data in the second data format to the first data format, the adapter generation device being constituted to hold mapping information that associates a subset for output for each data output format with each of the profile and version of the data model, a table of the relational database, and a query to the relational database, and management information that includes information relating to a data conversion tool and rule that are used when generating an adapter, information relating to a script for processing data conversion, and information relating to a definition format, and generates an adapter that corresponds to a designated data output format on the basis of the mapping information and the management information.
