Abstract:
This adapter is for connecting a second optical device to a first optical device which has an objective optical part at the leading-end side thereof and has an eyepiece optical part at the rear-end side thereof. The adapter is provided with: a fixation part to be fixed to the first optical device; a holding part for holding the second optical device; and a support part for supporting the holding part with respect to the fixation part in a manner as to be movable between a first position and a second position. At the first position, a first surface of the second optical device held by the holding part faces a rear-end surface of the eyepiece optical part. The holding part has a second surface facing the first surface. At the second position, the second surface is located closer to the objective-optical-part side than the rear-end surface.
