Abstract:
One of the objectives of the present disclosure is to provide a novel adsorbent material to be used for adsorbing a wider range of adsorbates in comparison with non-patent document 1. Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide an adsorbent sheet, a separation membrane, an artificial dialysis machine that use such absorbent material, and a production method thereof. This adsorbent material is to be used for adsorbing disease causative substances and comprises secondary particles having one or more layers, Each layer comprises: a layer body represented by the formula MmXn (where M is at least one group 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 metal; X is a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, or a combination thereof; n is 1 to 4 inclusive; and m is greater than n but no greater than 5); and a modification or a terminal T present on the surface of the layer body (T is at least one selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, an oxygen atom, and a hydrogen atom).
