Abstract:

A carbodiimide salt in which caking does not occur even when stored long term is provided. The carbodiimide salt is formed from a powder of said salt, and consists of aggregates (flakes, granules, or the like) having a mechanically compressed surface. The aggregates preferably have a bulk density of at least 0.23 g/cm3, and a median particle size (volumetric basis) according to wet particle size measurement of not more than 100 μm. The preferred carbodiimide is 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide.
