Abstract:
An air conditioner according to the present disclosure comprises: an outdoor unit equipped with a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor unit (10) equipped with an indoor heat exchanger (14), an indoor blower (15), and a housing (11) that houses the indoor heat exchanger (14) and the indoor blower (15); a control unit that operates in an indoor suspended particulate collection mode in which indoor suspended particulates are collected in condensed water generated by lowering the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger (14) to a temperature higher than the temperature at which water freezes and equal to or less than the dew point of a room; and a drainage channel for draining the condensed water.
