Abstract:
A compressor blade for an aircraft jet engine, with which the deposition of sand during operation in desert areas is prevented, and for which an amorphous layer coating is formed on the blade surface. The amorphous layer includes at least one component from TiAlSiN, TiAlCrN, AlCrSiN, AlTiSiN, TiCN, and DLC, and preferably includes AlTiSiN. Furthermore, the blade surface is formed with a prescribed surface roughness, and a coating can be formed thereupon, with the surface roughness preferably less than 0.1 Ra.
