Abstract:
This antenna device is provided with: a substrate (2); an antenna (3) formed on a front surface (2a) of the substrate (2); a first ground (5), which is formed on a rear surface (2b) of the substrate (2), and which has an area that is larger than that of the antenna (3); and a second ground (4), which is formed on the front surface of the substrate, and which has an area that is smaller than that of the first ground (5). The second ground (4) is insulated from the antenna (3), and is connected to, at an end portion of the substrate (2), the first ground (5), thereby reducing the size of the whole antenna device (1), while maintaining performance of the antenna (3).
