Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antibacterial molded article of which the antibacterial performance can be further improved. The present invention for achieving the purpose relates to an antibacterial molded article comprising a resin molded body. The resin molded body has, on a surface thereof, an antibacterial region in which the percentage of prominent protrusions is 3% to 25% inclusive. Alternatively, the resin molded body has, on a surface thereof, an antibacterial region which has a maximum height roughness prescribed by JIS B 0601 (2013) of 100 nm or more and less than 500 nm and has a plurality of catching protrusions each having a height equal to or larger than half of the maximum height roughness (Rz), wherein the average distance between the plurality of catching protrusions is 1.5 μm to 7 μm inclusive.
