Abstract:
Provided are an antibody targeting IL-18BP or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, a production method therefor, and use thereof. Specifically provided are a murine or chimeric monoclonal antibody and a humanized antibody targeting IL-18BP, a nucleic acid molecule encoding the antibody, a corresponding expression vector, and a host cell. The antibody targeting IL-18BP or the antigen-binding fragment thereof can specifically bind to IL-18BP, has high affinity, can release natural IL-18 in vivo, activate an IL-18 signal to enhance the ability of T cells and NK cells to kill tumors, and thus can be used for preventing/treating tumors, metabolic diseases, immune system diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, inflammatory diseases, or other diseases.
