Abstract:
Disclosed are an array substrate, a display device and a driving method thereof. A peripheral region of the array substrate is provided with gate line extensions (3), data line extensions (4) and a control circuit. The control circuit is used, when displaying an image, to control a gate line (1) and the gate line extension (3) to mutually conduct and to control a data line (2) and the data line extension (4) to mutually conduct and, in a time period between the display of two adjacent images, to control the gate line (1) and the gate line extension (3) to disconnect from each other, and to control the data line (2) and the data line extension (4) to disconnect from each other, such that potential differences exist between at least part of the gate line extensions (3), and such that potential differences exist between at least part of the data line extensions (4). By using a control circuit to control such that potential differences exist between at least part of gate line extensions (3) and between at least part of data line extensions (4), the present invention can adsorb positively- and negatively-charged ions at a peripheral region of an array substrate, thereby solving the problem of a residual image at the periphery of a display device effectively and thus improving display quality of the display device.
