Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a robot hand which can grip an object prone to sag, such as a banknote bundle, in a manner in which the object is not prone to sag. This robot hands is a two-finger hand and is provided with a first finger, a second finger, and a finger moving mechanism. The first finger has one recess. The recess opens at least on the side facing the second finger. The second finger is arranged facing the first finger. Also, the second finger either is opposite of the recess and has a width less than or equal to the width of the recess, or has one projection or protrusion that is opposite of the recess and has a width less than or equal to the width of the recess. The finger moving mechanism moves at least one of the first finger and the second finger in the direction of opposition between the first finger and the second finger.
