Abstract:
Disclosed is an automatic leasing apparatus with which leasing can be performed by separating warp threads without damaging them, efficiently, at low cost and in a stable fashion, when warp threads are separated one at a time from a group of warp threads to perform leasing in the preparatory stage of weaving fabric. The automatic leasing apparatus separates warp threads (S) one at a time from a warp thread group (G) consisting of warp threads (S) collected in preparation for fabric weaving, and passes a lease cord between the separated warp threads (S). The automatic leasing apparatus includes: a suction unit (10) which suctionally holds the warp threads (S) by applying negative pressure to the warp thread group (G); a sensor unit (20) which comes into contact with the warp threads (S) suctionally held by the suction unit (10) and detects the tension thereof; and a calculation unit (30) which determines from the warp thread (S) tension detection result whether the correct number of warp threads (S), i.e. a single thread only, has been separated, or whether an incorrect number of warp threads (S), i.e. a plurality of warp threads (S), has been separated.
