Abstract:
A cabin formed from FRP is configured by joining an inner skin (19) which is located on the inside of a vehicle interior and an outer skin (20) which is located on the outside of the vehicle interior, and the cabin at least comprises a rear floor panel (27), left and right rear side frames (23) which extend in the front-rear direction along the left and right side edges of the rear floor panel (27), and a rear end cross member (24) which connects the rear ends of the left and right rear side frames (23) and which extends in the width direction of the vehicle along the rear edge of the rear floor panel (27). The inside of each of the rear side frames (23) is divided by a partition member (51) into an upper space (23a) and a lower space (23b). As a result of this configuration, the partition members (51) ensure the rigidity of the rear side frames (23), enabling a collision load in a side collision to be reliably supported, and enable an increase in the height of the rear side frames (23), increasing the volume of the trunk.
