Abstract:
The invention relates to an auxiliary device for moving frames (1, 2) of a beehive, which is in the form of a Langstroth hive, substantially in parallel with the installation surface (14) of the beehive, comprising a frame-supporting rack (3) and at least one frame-moving element (4). The frame-supporting rack (3) and the frame-moving element (4) are designed as separate components, wherein the frame-supporting rack (3) can be positioned on at least one of the sides of a beehive and comprises sliding surfaces (5) extending in the plane of the frame (2) to be moved, and wherein each frame-moving element (4) comprises two interconnected rollers (7) or sliding elements and at least two connection elements (6), for example in the form of receptacles, which can be brought into engagement with connection positions (8), for example in the form of projections, mounted rigidly on the frame (2), when the frame-moving elements (4) are being positioned, and wherein, after connecting the connection elements (6) to the connection positions (8), the frame-moving element (4) can be brought into an operating position by a pivoting movement, in which operating position the frame (2) to be lifted is supported on the rollers (7) or sliding elements and can be moved on the frame-supporting rack (3) with a low requirement of force.
