Title:
BATTERY MODULE AND BATTERY PACK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/073399
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a battery module with which it is difficult for a gap to occur in the connecting portion of the positive electrode bus bar and the negative electrode bus bar when the connection is made, and with which it is difficult for stress/strain to occur at the connecting portion after the positive electrode bus bar and the negative electrode bus bar are connected. The battery module is equipped with a positive electrode bus bar (200) electrically parallel-connects the positive electrode terminals of multiple element batteries (100), with the element batteries (100) being arranged with their polarity in the same direction, and a negative electrode bus bar (300) that electrically parallel-connects the negative terminals. Positive electrode bus bar (200) has a plate-like extended part (210) that extends from the edge of the bus bar toward the negative electrode terminals, and negative electrode bus bar (300) has a bent part (320) that bends toward the negative electrode terminals from the edge that is in the direction opposite the extended part (210). Slits (230) are formed in the extended part (220) in the edges in the width direction perpendicular to the direction of extension of the extended part.
