Claims:
CLAIMS

1. This invention is a perpendicular package to prevent microbial deterioration of liquids after opening of their packages. It has a transparent liquid output hose (6); an internal bag (7) filled with air (3) to prevent contact of air (3) and microorganisms coming from outside and passing through the air opening (4) with the liquid (2) in the package (1); a liquid (2) output (15) ensuring liquid (2) output from the package (1) and an isolating valve (10); consists of a cable (8) providing power for ultraviolet LEDs (17) and connected plug (9) and battery (11); includes transparent internal surface (13), lustreless surface (14) and hose socket (16) and has a cap apparatus (5) including ultraviolet LEDs (17) which prevents penetration of microorganisms, passing through the micronic gaps at the area where the valve (10) is closed, and their increase in liquid (2) and deterioration of the liquid (2).

2nd Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st claim and it has the following differences: It includes transparent liquid output hose (6) and hose socket (16) and diameter of the liquid output hose (6) is smaller than the diameter of the hose socket (16) in order to allow connection-disconnection of the cap apparatus (5) with the package (1).

3rd Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st and 2nd claims and it has the following differences: It has a transparent internal surface (13) and transparent liquid output house (6) which ensures that ultraviolet beams generated by ultraviolet LEDs (17) shall come through the liquid output (15) and penetrate into microorganisms infiltrating into the liquid (2) in the package.

4th Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st and 2nd claims and it has the following differences: It has a lustreless surface (14) which can prevent radiation of ultraviolet beams generated by ultraviolet LEDs (17) out of the cap apparatus (5).

5th Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st and 2nd claims and it has the following differences: It has two batteries (11) ensuring operation of ultraviolet LEDs (17) and green LED (12) when electric power cannot be provided.

6th Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st claim and has the following differences: it has eight ultraviolet LEDs (17) and a green LED (12) indication activeness of the ultraviolet LEDs (17) which will generate ultraviolet beams with wavelengths of 250-270 nanometres against the microorganisms that can penetrate into the liquid (2) in the package (1) by coming from liquid output (15) via liquid output hose (6).

7th Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st claim and has the following differences: It has eight ultraviolet LEDs (17) spoiling reproduction feature of microorganisms in the liquid (2) and an internal bag (7) which enables storage of thousands of cubic meters of liquid (2) without exposing to microbial deterioration and by keeping its freshness as the internal bag (7) prevents contact of air (3) and microorganisms coming from air input opening (4) and with the liquid (2) and is filled with air (3) and stands on the liquid (2) surface.

8th Claim is a perpendicular package like 1st claim and has the following differences: It has the package (1) which can preferably be made of wood and ensures improvement of taste of the liquid (2) via transfer of aromatic components on the wood to the liquid (2) by preventing microbial deterioration during storage and use of the liquid (2) and protecting freshness.

Technical Area

The invention aims to extend shelf life of the liquids stored in cans and other containers by preventing microbial deterioration during use of these liquids. Current situation of the technique

In the current situation of the technique, the systems protecting the liquid by internal bag protects freshness of the liquid by preventing contact of liquid with air penetrating into the can. However, microbial deterioration of the liquid is realized as penetration of microorganisms into the liquid through micronic gaps on the cap when the cap is closed or their penetration during flow of the liquid after the package is opened cannot be prevented. These systems only protect freshness of the liquid but they are ineffective against microbial deterioration.

Current systems preventing contact of liquid with air store liquid in internal bag and keep air between package and internal bag. In these systems, internal bag is exposed to liquid pressure. Thus, systems storing liquid in internal bag is only used for packages of a few litres volume and it cannot be possible to protect freshness of tons of liquids as these systems cannot resist to high pressures like thousands of cubic meters and break into pieces. Current air-liquid contact blocker systems store liquid in the internal bag and they keep air between package and internal bag. In these systems, liquid cannot contact with the external package, which can be made of wood when preferred, due to internal bag. Therefore, aromatic components on the wood cannot be transferred to the liquids and taste cannot be improved during storage and use of the liquid and these liquids cannot be aged.

Purpose of the Invention

The purpose of this invention is to prevent microbial deterioration of the liquid by preventing contact of microorganisms, penetrating into the internal bag with air, with liquid substances and increase of these microorganisms that move into the package in which the liquid is stored via ultraviolet beams, originated from ultraviolet LEDs and passes through the cap. Another purpose of this invention is to prevent microbial deterioration for even liq uids with thousands of cubic meters volume without being su bject to liquid pressure caused by the inner bag, filled with air and stands onto the liquid surface, and to protect freshness of the liquid. Another purpose of this invention can be explained as following: Contact of liquid with air is prevented thanks to inner bag and aromatic components in the liquid can be transferred to the liquid during storage and use of the liquid, taste of the liquid may be improved and these liquids may be aged as the liquid sha ll contact with the package which can be made of wooden when preferred.

The invention mainly consists of package (1), air input opening (4), cap appa ratus (5), transparent liquid output hose (6), internal bag (7), cable (8), plug (9), isolating valve (10), battery (11), green LED (12), transparent interna l su rface (13), lustreless surface (14), liq uid output (15), hose socket

(16) and u ltraviolet LEDs (17).

The pu rpose of this invention is to prevent microbia l deterioration of the liquid (2) during use of the liquid (2) by preventing contact of microorganisms, penetrating into the internal bag (7) with air (3), with liquid (2) substances and increase of these microorganisms that move into the package (1) in which the liquid (2) is stored via ultraviolet bea ms, originated from ultraviolet LEDs

(17) and passes through the cap apparatus (5). The liquid (2) is located between internal bag (7) and package (1). I nternal bag (7) can be used even in systems in which thousands of cu bic meters liq uid (2) is stored as it is filled with air (3), stands on the liquid (2) and does not expose to liquid pressure .

The package (1) can be made of polyethylene/card board/alu minium lamination, wooden or any other material. If the package (1) is made of wood, aromatic components on the wood ca n be transferred to the liquid (2) du ring storage and use of the liquid (2) and taste may be improved and these liquids (2) may be aged as liq uid (2) ca n contact with the wooden package (1) and does not contact with air (3). Working Principle:

Cap apparatus (5) can be used for many times without being thrown when the liquid (2) in the package (1) is finished tha nks to its feature of being connectable and detachable with the package (1). The cap apparatus (5) is connected to the transparent liquid output hose (6) of the package filled with liquid (2) sensitive to microbial deterioration and its plug (9) is connected . Ultraviolet LEDs (17) start to generate u ltraviolet beams. Then, the valve (10) is opened and liquid (2) output is ensu red . Air (3) coming from outside d uring liquid (2) output and accompanying

microorganisms directly fill into the interna l bag (7) their contact with liquid is prevented .

Penetration of microorganisms, passing th rough gaps (in microns) at the area where the valve (10) is closed, into the liquid (2) when isolating valve (10) is open, liq uid (2) is taken or isolating va lve is closed is prevented by u ltraviolet beams generated by ultraviolet LEDs (17) and thus increase of microorganisms in the liq uid (2) and deterioration of the liq uid (2) a re not allowed. U ltraviolet beams generated by ultraviolet LEDs (17) firstly pass through transparent internal surface (13) and then penetrate into the transparent liquid output hose (6) and neutralizes the microorganisms there. Lustreless surface (14) prevents penetration of ultraviolet beams generated by ultraviolet LEDs (17) out of the cap apparatus (5). Ultraviolet LEDs (17) generate ultraviolet beams with wavelengths of 250-270 nanometres.

Green LED (12) indicates activeness of the system by operating with ultraviolet LEDs (17). When the liquid (2) in the package (1) is over, internal bag (7) shall fully cover the package and it is filled with air (3). When the liquid (2) is over, the cap apparatus (5) is disconnected from the package (1) and connected to the liquid output hose (6) of a new package (1). Diameter of the liquid output hose (6) is smaller than the diameter of the hose socket (16) for connection and disconnection of the cap apparatus (5) to/from the package (1).

Implementation of the Invention in Industry

The cap apparatus stated above can be manufactured and used in any branch of the packaging industry and it can be implemented in the industry.
