Abstract:
This blood-pressure gauge (100) is provided with a blood-pressure measurement unit (210) that automatically makes a blood-pressure measurement according to a predetermined schedule in one mode among multiple blood-pressure measurement modes. The multiple blood-pressure measurement modes include a normal measurement mode and multiple measurement modes that have higher reliability than the normal measurement mode. The blood-pressure gauge (100) is further equipped with: a determination unit (220) which determines whether or not one of multiple events has occurred in a user during a blood-pressure measurement; and a mode setting unit (225) which sets a measurement mode to be executed from among the multiple blood-pressure measurement modes. The mode setting unit (225) sets the normal measurement mode as the measurement mode to be executed when none of said events has occurred, and sets one of the multiple measurement modes as the measurement mode to be executed when one of said events has occurred.
