Abstract:
This blower comprises a fan unit and a motor unit. The fan unit includes a centrifugal fan and a fan case accommodating the centrifugal fan. The motor unit includes a rotor, a stator, and a motor case accommodating the rotor and the stator. The fan case has formed therein an opening for inserting part of the motor case into the fan case. A gap connected to the opening is formed between the fan case and the motor case. The gap constitutes an airflow passage whereby the interior of the fan case is in communication with an exterior space via the opening.
