Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a bogie having single-layer side frames, and a rail vehicle. The bogie comprises: two side frames arranged side by side; two connecting seats, each connecting seat being disposed below the middle of one side frame, and the two connecting seats being connected by means of a traction device; two wheelsets, which are respectively disposed below end portions of the side frames, each wheelset comprising an axle, wheels symmetrically provided on the axle, and an axle box; and primary suspension devices provided between the axle boxes and the end portions of the side frames. According to the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, the weight of the bogie can be reduced, and lightweight design is facilitated.
