Abstract:
This cargo handling control device (200) acquires cargo characteristic information (D2) which indicates the external size, the mass, and the center-of-gravity position of a cargo, cargo handling apparatus characteristic information (D1) which indicates the length of a fork of the cargo handling apparatus (100), and distance information (D3) between cargo and a cargo handling apparatus which indicates the distance from the cargo to the cargo handling apparatus (100). A calculation unit (230) calculates a suitable insertion depth of the fork into the cargo on the basis of the acquired cargo characteristic information (D2), the cargo handling apparatus characteristic information D1, and the distance information (D3) between cargo and cargo handling apparatus. A notification unit (240) provides notification of a cargo handling situation of the cargo according to the operation result of the operation unit (230).
