Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a circuit element, a storage device, an electronic instrument, a method for writing information to the circuit element, and a method for reading information from the circuit element. [Solution] A circuit element provided with: a pair of inactive electrodes; and a switch layer provided between the pair of inactive electrodes, the switch layer functioning as a selection element and a storage element in one layer, and having a region with differential negative resistance to current/voltage characteristics.
