Abstract:
The present invention relates to a clutter elimination and multi-target tracking method for a radar system, comprising the steps of: (a) allowing a transmitting/receiving unit of the radar system to transmit a radar signal to surroundings and receive a signal reflected from a target; (b) allowing a control unit to generate radar detection information by using the received radar signal; (c) eliminating clutter information from the radar detection information; (d) checking whether target tracking prediction information, which uses the radar detection information from which the clutter information is eliminated, and actual detection information are matched; and (e) updating a tracking history by using all of the matched and unmatched tracking information of the checking result in step (d), thereby using multi-target detection information so as to eliminate clutter, tracking the same target, reducing a target false alarm rate through an undetected target estimation, and improving the accuracy of a target detection rate and measurement information.
