Abstract:
Provided are: a coated substrate having a layer that has excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and less variations therein; a production method for the coated substrate; a heat exchanger provided with the coated substrate; and a liquid composition that can be suitably used to form the coated substrate. The coated substrate according to the present invention has a substrate, and a thermally-conductive layer that covers a surface of the substrate and contains a tetrafluoroethylene polymer having a melt viscosity of 1×106 Pa·s or less at 380°C and a thermally-conductive filler having an aspect ratio of more than 1. The ratio of the longitudinal length of the thermally-conductive filler to the thickness of the thermally-conductive layer is 0.1 or more. In addition, the liquid composition according to the present invention contains a liquid medium, the thermally-conductive filler, and a powder of the tetrafluoroethylene polymer having a volume-based cumulative 50% particle size of 0.1-6 μm. The contained amount of the thermally-conductive filler is 10 mass% or more, and the ratio of the volume-based cumulative 10% particle size of the powder to the volume-based cumulative 50% particle size of the powder is 0.5 or less.
