Abstract:
The present application relates to a common-mode voltage dynamic modulation circuit and method and a D-class audio power amplifier. The modulation circuit comprises: a signal input end and a common-mode voltage dynamic adjustment module; the signal input end is used for receiving an audio signal and outputting a differential audio signal to the common-mode voltage dynamic adjustment module; the common-mode voltage dynamic adjustment module is used for dynamically adjusting common-mode voltage of the differential audio signal according to a preset static common-mode bias and a normalization processing result of a swing amplitude of the audio signal, and tracking the amplitude of the input audio signal in real time so as to obtain continuously adjusted common-mode voltage. The circuit can be used for carrying out common-mode voltage adjustment in a D-class audio power amplifier, so as to keep the duty ratio of PWM at a lower value when no audio is input, thereby reducing energy consumption; in addition, the common-mode voltage is modulated according to the amplitude of the input audio, and is always maintained in a state of what you get is what you want, so the loss caused by inductance ripple current can also be reduced to the minimum in case of small and medium power.
