Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a communication apparatus and a communication method, an information processing apparatus, a communication system, and a program for a voice call system that make it possible, by a simple operation, to suppress degradation of sound quality of a voice call. An echo cancel processing unit for suppressing an echo produced as voice transmitted from a communication apparatus of a transmission destination is emitted from a speaker and then enters a microphone that collects voice transmitted to the communication apparatus of the transmission destination, disables an echo cancel process when the voice collected at the communication apparatus of the transmission destination is silent. The present disclosure may be applied to a voice call system via a network.
