A mobile communication terminal apparatus (1) wherein a storage means (23) has first through fifth registration areas; a possible communication provider extracting means (21a) that analyzes information carried by a radio wave received at the current position and thereby extracts possible communication providers that can be communicated with; and a communication provider selecting means (21b) that selects a communication provider to be used, based on both an extraction result of the possible communication provider extracting means (21a) and the registration contents of the first through fifth registration areas. As a result, in a roaming process, the mobile communication terminal apparatus can select, from among a plurality of communication providers that can be communicated with, a communication provider the connection charge of which is low.
