Abstract:
The present invention relates to a contactless optical sensor and a terminal comprising the same, the contactless optical sensor being capable of setting a sensing region in the upper portion of a screen of a terminal, thereby enabling that a user's movement or three-dimensional coordinates to manipulate the terminal, mainly directly above the screen of the terminal, can precisely be sensed. The contactless optical sensor may comprise: a light emitting unit capable of irradiating irradiation light on an object; a light receiving unit capable of receiving reflection light reflected from the object; and a reflection light inducing member, installed in the light receiving path of the light receiving unit, for inducing the reflection light so as to alter a first travel path of the reflection light to a second travel path which comes within a range that can be sensed by the light receiving unit.
