Abstract:
A control device for a vehicle drive device, whereby engine warm-up is accelerated by controlling the engine operation point by adjusting the torque of an electric motor. Transmission loss in a torque converter (16) is increased and the amount of heat generated is increased when hydraulic oil temperature (THoil) is low, in comparison to when the hydraulic oil temperature (THoil) is high, as a result of reducing the speed ratio (e) of the torque converter (16) by adjusting a first electric motor torque (Tmg1) while transferring power between a first electric motor (MG1) and a second electric motor (MG2). As a result, not only can the increase in hydraulic oil temperature (THoil) be accelerated, warming up of a device (e.g., an automatic transmission (18)) that is operated by using the hydraulic oil can also be accelerated by the increase in hydraulic oil temperature (THoil).
